OUR CLUBHOUSE

The Mudjimba SLSC is a community asset, that was originally established by community members some 20 odd years ago, and while the current building has served the Mudjimba community well, the time has come to progress towards a planned solution that delivers a sustainable future for lifesaving within the Mudjimba community.

A sustainable future requires re-development of an ageing building that no longer meets our needs regarding storage, functionality, training room, and physical amenities. In addition, ‘the Club’ is facing some significant maintenance requirements to comply with statutory obligations.

Where We Are At…

Stage 1

Building in the container area – Completed

Stage 2 & 3

New Training Room, Club Office & Kiosk – Completed

Amenities Upgrade – Still to be completed

Dedicated Youth Space – Still to be completed

External Sun Shade Sail for Nippers – Still to be completed

Solar – Still to be completed

We Still Need Your Help

We are still looking for funding for:

  • Upgrade to our current amenities
  • Fit out for the new Youth space
  • External (sun safe) shade for our Nippers
  • Solar

Thank you to The Lestari Foundation, Twin Waters Residents Association, Fiona Simpson, and the many, many members of our community who made substantial donations towards the new Clubhouse roof.
