HOW TO APPLY FOR A NEW BLUECARD

To apply for a Working with Children Blue Card log onto Blue Card Services and apply for or renew your card using this link:

For a new applicant, you will be provided with a reference number which should then be provided to the Mudjimba Surf Club Office Administrators together with your date of birth.  This will enable your application to be linked to Surf Life Saving Queensland.  Once that is done you can log back into Blue Card Services and complete your application. 

You cannot commence Volunteering until your Working with Children Blue card has been approved and confirmation has been received from Blue Card Services.

Please note: a Volunteer Working with Children Blue Card is free of charge and will remain current for a period of 3 years.

HOW TO RENEW YOUR BLUECARD

Blue Cards renewal applications must be received before your current blue card expiries for you to be able to continue working with children. You can not continue to work or volunteer with children once your BC has expired OR in the renewal process.

Blue Card Services will send card holders a reminder text to renew 10 weeks before your current card expires so please make sure your contact details are up to date so you can receive your renewal reminder. You can submit your renewal application up to 16 weeks before your current card expiries.
